Sunderland vs Spurs

The first Premier League game this weekend is Man Utd vs Newcastle at Old Trafford.

Sunday's first game sees The Black Cats take on Spurs at the Stadium of Light. Spurs are currently the bookmakers favourites to beat bottom of the table Sunderland.

Sunderland's Best Odds: 7/2

Sunderland have experienced an extremely tough start to the season, losing their first 2 games and only managing draws against Swansea and Aston Villa.

Sunderland have recruited a few players from Spurs over the last year or so including Jermain Defoe who's scored 2 goals in 4 games so far this season.

It may be a long shot, but if Dick Advocaat's Sunderland can pull it together on the day, they could be in with a chance of beating an inconsistent Spurs team.

If you’re betting on a Sunderland win, Coral.co.uk offer the best odds at 7/2.

Spurs' Best Odds: 19/20

We may only be 4 games into the 2015/16 Premier League season, but things aren’t going well for Spurs as they're still looking to record their first win.

Despite playing fairly well, Spurs lost their opening game to Man Utd at Old Trafford and only managed draws against Stoke, Leicester and Everton.

There was quite a lot of activity in the transfer window, but Pochettino's still missing a defensive midfielder and a striker to support last seasons goal-machine Harry Kane.

If Spurs want to have a chance of turning their luck around, Kane needs to capitalise on his 2 goals for England and replicate that form for Spurs.

Despite their slow start, Spurs are still the bookmakers favourites to win this game.

SkyBet offer the best odds on Spurs beating Sunderland at 19/20.

Best Odds On A Draw: 11/4

Given that both teams have drawn most of their games this season, it could end up as a stalemate. Betfred.com offer the best odds on the draw at 11/4.

Leicester vs Aston Villa

The second game on Sunday to be shown on SkySports is Leicester vs Aston Villa. Leicester are the bookmakers favourites to win after a strong start to the season.

Leicester's Best Odds: 17/20

Out of the 4 teams playing on Sunday, Leicester in the best form having surprised other teams with their direct play and the form of star midfielder Mahrez.

Leicester won their first 2 Premier League games and then drew the next 2, and currently lie in 3rd place on 8 points below Man City and Crystal Palace.

With such strong form it's easy to see why they're the favourites with Ladbrokes.com offering the best odds at 17/20.

Aston Villa's Best Odds: 7/2

Aston Villa haven’t had a bad start to their season although Tim Sherwood's team have only accumulated 4 points in the 2015/16 Premier League season.

They started their campaign with a win against Bournemouth, but went on to lose to Man Utd and Crystal Palace and only held Sunderland to a draw.

Although Aston Villa have made a lot of new signings in pre-season, Sherwood’s side is showing signs of gelling together and could go on a decent run.

While they may not be favourites to win, they could still be tough competition for Leicester. If you’re betting on Aston Villa to win, BetVictor.com offer the best odds at 7/2.

Best Odds On A Draw: 11/4

With Sherwood's previous teams able to up their game against certain teams this could end up being a draw. WilliamHill.com offer the best odds on that outcome at 11/4.
