We’ve traditionally placed most of our bets through online bookmakers websites, or in our local betting shops, but in recent years we've ventured out a bit and started trying some of their Apps.

Most British Bookmakers offer members the option of placing bets via a downloadable App, however we haven’t always been impressed with the quality, content or execution of them, and have often reverted back to using the mobile version of their main websites.

All of that changed however, when we downloaded the latest version of Bet365's App (see our Bet365 App download instructions on how to get the App onto your iOS or Android device).

Not only has the App that Bet365 offer new and existing members been a pleasure to use, unlike some bookmakers Apps, it's also exceeded our expectations in terms of the level of functionality that's achievable when betting via an App on a phone.

Despite its visually simplistic appearance, we’ve always found the Bet365 website to be oozing in quality with exceptionally good design, especially in terms of user experience.

Once we downloaded the Bet365 App, we found that they’d also followed these key design principles in their App, and it was extremely straightforward to connect our account to it.

Depositing or making withdrawals from your account within the App itself is also super easy.

The design is so aligned with their main website, it makes the App really intuitive to navigate and find/place bets, which we guess is what Bet365 were hoping to achieve.

Yes, there’s a lot of information within in the App once we started to look through it, but we found that it’s exceptionally well laid out, with most sports betting markets quickly and easily located.

In our opinion, one of the things that stands out with Bet365's App for both iOS and Android devices, is the fact that it allows us to use most of the major features that are accessible to desktop users who bet using their main website.

This includes the excellent range of Bet365 betting offers that existing members will be used to and also the ability to watch live streams of various sports including UK and Irish Horse Racing.

We also discovered that the Bet365 App is extremely functional in all departments and have been impressed with the fact that we could access all of our current bets through the My Bets section, be that via their website or in the App.

The ability to access our Bet365 account no matter where we are is a huge bonus, and we found that we were able to bet on a wide range of sports and leagues that the Bet365 App offers.

Last time we checked there were over 35 sports that we could bet on, including all of our personal favourites such as football, horse racing, greyhound racing and rugby.

Bet365's customer support team are also available 24/7 and can be contacted via phone, e-mail or the quickest, and our preferred method of communication these days, Bet365 live chat.

The stats section that's found in the Bet365 App is also very useful as it’s meant that we could utilise all of the in-depth data that it provides, in order to help us make more informed bets.

We’ve always been fans of the Bet365 stats section when we've accessed it, and we reckon the fact that they've managed to incorporate this feature into their App is absolutely brilliant.

We're big fans of being able to study horse racing form without having to leave the App.

Not only were all of our favourite sports betting markets available to bet on, we also found that we could place either pre-match, or live in-play bets, quickly and easily too.

Unlike a lot of bookmakers Apps that we've downloaded in the past, Bet365's gave us pretty much all of the same options that we're used to when betting via their website; Bet365.com, but using their App has made it a way more efficient and convenient experience.

We mentioned being impressed with the ability to bet on live sports using Bet365's betting App, but it's the streaming options that really set the App apart from other bookmakers efforts.

In our opinion, being able to both watch, and also bet on a wide range of live sporting events, wherever we happen to be, is another stand-out feature of the Bet365 App.

There's a dedicated 'In-Play' button at the bottom of the App which takes you to a list of the live sporting events that are currently taking place and available for in-play betting.

It's worth mentioning that in order to view Bet365's live streams, you'll need to have a funded account, or to have placed a bet at some point within the last 24 hours.

Bet365's Match Live feature, which offers real time updates via graphics and text, means that we were able follow a range of sports as action unfolded, and it's great that it's available in the App.

Although we weren’t actually able to watch some events live, Match Live enabled us to catch all of the most important aspects of events such as corners, goals, free kicks and penalties.

In our opinion that, combined with the live match alerts feature that we've regularly taken advantage of in the past, are in our opinion essential features for any bookmakers App.

Busy weekend’s have also made us miss out on betting on some sporting events, and it's Bet365's live match alerts that have enabled us to get notifications of upcoming football and horse racing events that we'd planned to bet on.

We're sure that they'll add even more impressive features and options to the Bet365 App in the future, but we found these the most useful for our particular betting needs.

There have also been times when we’ve forgotten to place a bet on a Premier League fixture we'd had our eye on, or a boxing match that was happening in a different time zone, and having the Bet365 App meant that we could simply place the bet wherever we were.

We also found the Live Prices great, and it was a quick and simple process finding odds for a wide range of markets using Bet365's App, as it's just so intuitive.

This is the case whether you're familiar with betting on the Bet365.com website or not.

We’re predominantly football and horse racing fans here at British Bookmakers, and we found that our favourite bet types, including complicated ACCA’s, can be constructed quite easily.

It was also a bit of a bonus when we discovered that we could also use Bet365's Cash Out option within the App as long as we were placing bets on betting markets that qualify for it.

Being able to Cash Out, be that Partial, Auto or Manual, has meant that we've been able to take on early profit on bets that could have otherwise gone downhill quite quickly.

Should I Download Bet365's App?

To be honest, the Bet365 App has caused us to re-think our position on the betting Apps that British Bookmakers offer, as it's so much better than we ever thought an App could be.

We tend to use Bet365's more than any other, and we can't see this changing anytime soon, as most bookmakers are lagging such a long way behind Bet365 in terms of App development.

There are clearly so many benefits to using it, but the fact that it is so similar in content to their main website is, in our opinion, a godsend, as most will take to it like a duck to water.

Despite the team here at British Bookmakers being mainly interested in sports betting, it's good to know that App users are able to access Bet365's Casino, Games and Poker products too.

So many bookmakers have failed to get their Apps to deliver what we as punters need, and it’s refreshing to see a bookmaker that has taken the time to deliver an innovative and superior App that aligns perfectly with their pre-existing betting platform.

One of the quickest and easiest ways to download the Bet365 App is to tap here or on any of the "Download App" or "Go to Store" buttons that can be found on this page.

Either option lets you download their App for an iOS or Android device. It's then just a case of following the installation instructions to get the App onto your smartphone or tablet.

How to download the Bet365 App for Android:

• Register an account at Bet365.com on your PC or Mac computer.
• Use your Android device to visit Bet365's website.
• Scroll down to the bottom of the page where the available Apps are displayed.
• Tap the Bet365 Android Sports App.
• Tap OK when prompted with a message about downloading the APK file.
• Go to ‘Security Settings’ and tick ‘Allow installation of Apps from unknown sources’.
• Open the Bet365 Android App from downloads and follow the installation instructions.
• Open the App and login to your account using the username/password you created earlier.

As you can see from the download guide for Android devices above, Bet365 don't actually have an App in the Google Play App Store, it's directly downloaded from Bet365's website.

It's slightly more convoluted compared to the installation process for iOS, but at least you know you're downloading the Bet365 App for your Android device from an official source.

Do Bet365 Have an App?
Yes, is the short answer. We've found that Bet365 have multiple ways in which you can place bets with them. You can choose from accessing their main website (Bet365.com) on a desktop PC or Mac, or accessing it on a smartphone or tablet which is basically a version of their desktop website for visitors using smartphones or tablets. The third option is to download the Bet365 App for either your iOS or Android smartphone or tablet. We've found that you'll have access to the same betting options no matter which option you choose.

Can I claim a Signup Offer in Bet365's App?
Absolutely. You can claim Bet365's signup offer for new customers whether you open a new account at Bet365.com or after you've downloaded and installed their App. We needed to provide some proof of identity/and our address details when we setup our account. You also can't have ever had an account with Bet365 before. Basically all new registrations are entitled to claim the latest signup offer for new account holders no matter which platform you join on.

How Can I Get The Bet365 App?
There are two options which are dependent on which operating system your device runs on. For iPhone or iPad users the process was simple. We simply visited the Apple App Store, and downloaded the Bet365 App designed for our iOS device. If your smartphone or tablet is running on Android, the process is slightly different as the App isn't in the Google Play store. Simply visit Bet365's website instead where you'll be able to download the App directly from them.

How Do I Download Bet365's iPhone App?
In our experience, the process of downloading Bet365's App for our iPhone, or iPad for that matter, was really simple. You can either tap here, which will take you to the Bet365 App page in Apple's App Store, or you can visit Bet365.com where you'll automatically be served the mobile version of their main website. One on their website, simply scroll down to the bottom of the page, tap 'View All Bet365 Apps', and then on the App that you'd like to download.

How Do I Download Bet365's Android App?
Due to the fact that Google Play has a stricter policy regarding gambling Apps than Apple do, installing Bet365's App for Android devices is slightly more complicated. You can either tap here, which is the direct link we used to download the Bet365 APK file, or visit the Bet365.com website, scroll down to the bottom of the page, and locate the App you'd like to install. This also downloads Bet365's APK file. Once downloaded you'll need to access your device settings and 'Allow installation of Apps from unknown sources' to be able to instal Bet365's App.

Can I Withdraw and Deposit in Bet365's App?
Yes, and it's usually a quick and easy process to either fund your Bet365 account, or withdraw any winnings, as it's essentially the same as if you were doing it on their website. We've found that Bet365 offer all of the usual deposit and withdrawal methods when accessing our account via their App. All are safe and legal with all transactions taking place using a secure connection. We've never had any issues entering any of our financial details into the Bet365 App although we have seen that withdrawals can take between 3-5 days to go through.

How Do I Place Bets in Bet365's App?
We've always found that placing a bet, be that before sporting events start, or live in-play, is extremely similar to the way we do it on Bet365's website. This is great user experience design in action, as it just feels so intuitive if you've previously place a bet with them. We simply found the sport that we wanted to bet on in Bet365's App, located the betting market we were interested in, and added a selection to the bet slip. Entered a stake and then placed our bet.

Can I Bet In-Play in the Bet365 App?
You sure can, and in our opinion this is one of the stand our features of Bet365's App. We saw all of the in-play betting options that you see on the Bet365 website are also in their App. We also found that a decent number of the sports betting markets that they offer are also available to watch as live streams within the App. We did notice that there are some country restrictions for streaming some sports, but that didn't effect our ability to place bets on live sport.

How Do I Access My Bet365 Account?
We've personally been able to login to our Bet365 account on every platform that they offer, whether we first signed up via their website or in the Bet365 App. Plus, it doesn't matter if you created a Casino, Poker, Games or Sports betting account with them when you joined, as you can access everything that they offer from the one single account. Bet365 call it their 'One Wallet' system and it means that your funds are available across all of their products.

Is the Bet365 App Safe?
Bet365 are one of the UK's biggest bookmakers and are fully licensed by the UK Gambling Commission which means that yes, in our experience, both their website and App are safe and secure betting portals. We've also found that every interaction we've had, be that via the Bet365 website or App, has been done over a secure connection, which has kept everything we've sent or received private. We have however always resisted using Bet365's App when we've been on public wi-fi, but that's just common sense for all sensitive information sent over a network.
