The German has already bagged 5 titles this year, with victories at ATP World Tour Masters 1000 Canada, Washington, The ATP World Tour Masters 1000 Rome, Munich and Montpellier.

If he remains on form, Zverev could be one of the stronger contenders in the tournament.

Marin Cilic's Best Odds: 14/1

If you’re betting that Marin Cilic will win, Ladbrokes.com offers the best odds at 14/1.

Croatian Marin Cilic, who made it to the Wimbledon finals this year in England, is also a top contender for the 2017 US Open men’s trophy.

The 2014 winner is having a strong year, and with Andy Murray out, it could give Cilic a real advantage in the bottom half of the draw and take another US Open title.

Grigor Dimitrov's Best Odds: 14/1

If you’re betting that Grigor Dimitrov will win the 2017 US Open, Sportingbet.com offers the best odds at 14/1 as well as up to £50 in bonus bets for new members.

Dimitrov has already secured 3 titles this year, with victories in The ATP World Tour Masters 1000 Cincinnati, Sofia and Brisbane, and is another contender for the US Open.

The Bulgarian had dropped in the world rankings after a poor run, but after making it to the 4th round in Wimbledon, he's now returned to the top 10.

While Dimitrov may be a bit of an outside bet, some of the top players are missing the tournament, providing more opportunity for Dimitrov to progress and make it to the final.
